| Conlin Associates provides planning and consulting services to public and private entities, ranging from individual developers seeking guidance in navigating the regulatory maze of the environmental permitting process, to the facilitation of regional, multi-jurisdictional initiatives and planning efforts in areas such as the conservation of open space, development of recreational facilities, and the preservation and adaptive use of significant historical resources. The planning, design, grant writing, and construction management for the Mineral
Belt National Recreation Trail, and the Sawatch Range Interpretive Trail;
The development of the Corridor Management Plan and nomination packet for the
Top of the Rockies National Scenic and Historic Byway;
Facilitation of the Lake County Open Space Initiative, setting aside over 8,500 acres of
open space and 5 miles of river under a consensus based Ecosystem Management
Plan;
Design, grant writing, and construction management for the Hayden Meadows
Reservoir and Recreation Area;
Coordinating the conservation planning for stabilization and adaptive reuse of the
Hayden Homestead Heritage Area;
Preparation of the Lake County Cultural Resource Preservation Plan, Interpretive Sign
Guidelines, and Mineral Belt Trail Interpretive Plan;
Facilitator for the EPA scientific peer review of the Lake County Community Health
Program, and construction oversight for the remediation of natural resource
damages to the Arkansas River, and;
Conceptualization and initiation of the Historic Preservation Trades Program at
Colorado Mountain College.
